Anyone familiar with the 5 & 10 should have no trouble understanding how it could happen.  We just found a case of these watches hidden away in the bottom of a closet.  The case is dated 1/4/89, the watches where imported by Sports Marketing Int'l.  The Blue Hen logo has been retired since around 1994.  The Blue Hen pictured is commonly referred to as, Dick.  These watches are NOS (new old stock) and will come in their original hinged acrylic flat case with all of it's original instructions and warranty information.  While I can't even say if Sports Marketing Int'l even exists anymore, I would have to believe the warranty is no longer valid.  Before shipping, we will check to insure that there is no corrosion from the original battery and replace with a new one.  The case and crystal appear to be plastic, the band and buckle are a rubberized vinyl.  The watch movement does feature a quartz movement and was made by Tochgitokei Co.,Ltd.  of Japan
