Pop-Up Exhibit: Pray For Snow

Who doesn’t love a snow day? It may be cold outside, but we’re thinking warm, nostalgic thoughts with our latest pop-up exhibit collaboration with the Newark Historical Society. For the rest of January, you can view an assortment of winter themed artifacts on loan from the Newark History Museum.

The exhibit features a Gortex parka, a velvet 1940’s child’s snow suit, high school letterman jackets, photos and more.

The North Face Gore-Tex Parka donated by W. L. Gore & Associates. Parkas like this one were worn by the team on the 1990 International Trans-Antarctica Expedition.
